Web Browser

A Web browser is a program that makes it possible to access and display pages from the World Wide Web.

The most commonly used Web browsers are Netscape Navigator/Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Opera.

The main functions of Web browsers are downloading and displaying documents and associated images from the Internet.

The most painful principle for HTML programmers is that no browser displays a page exactly the same way as a competitor's browser does.
