WWW

WWW is an acronym for "World Wide Web", an Internet-based multi-media hypertext information system.

Most people who talk about the Internet are referring to the Word Wide Web, since it is designed in a much more colourful fashion than other Internet-based services.

That is why the WWW is the most commonly used Internet service. Hypertext enables users to easily move back and forth among pages.

Such a huge number of home pages is almost unimaginable, even though search engines try to approximate the task of listing them all.
