USB
USB stands for Universal Serial Bus, an interface developed by Intel that has many applications.
It is a variation of the IEEE-1394 ("Firewire") which is also used for purposes other than computer technology.
You can connect up to 127 devices to the USB cable, the data transmission rate is up to 1 MB/s, which is sufficient, even for scanners and printers.
These devices can be connected or disconnected during operation. Windows 95 OSR 2.5 and Windows 98 automatically recognise these actions and install the appropriate drivers automatically.
