A keyboardThe keyboard is by far the most obvious input device for the computer.

In German-speaking regions, a keyboard usually has 101 keys, including:

12 functions keys,
the letters of the alphabet,
two sets of number keys (one set is located above the letters, the other is available through the Num Lock key),
two Enter keys,
two shift keys,
two Ctrl keys,
one Alt key,
one Alt Gr key
one Caps Lock key,
one Tab key,
as well as a few special character keys (e.g., +-#).
