DIMM
Because SIMM modules could no longer be used following the introduction of the Pentium II and ATX motherboards, DIMMs (the acronym for "Dual Inline Memory Modules") are now used.
DIMMs have 168 pins on their underside, used to transfer data from the memory to the processor, and are based on the SDRAM memory type.
