Athlon
The AMD Athlon was a seventh generation processor. It was considered the strongest competitor against the Intel Pentium processors, which it outstripped in terms of performance and speed in numerous applications. The AMD Athlon is no longer in production and has been superseded by the AMD Athlon XP.
